Getting our "raffle" prizes ready for Sept. 17. We will have football schedule posters, koozies and purple "green" tote bags. To enter, all you need to do is show up to the watch party!!!

I'm also cleaning out my Watch Party Box of Fun. Did you know every time you attend a football watch party, you can register to win a Garmin?

One lucky Wildcat will be chosen randomly to receive the prize with notification of winner at the conclusion of regular season play. Prize may not be transferred, sold or redeemed for cash. No purchase or contribution required to be eligible.

K-State Volleyball @ Georgia Tech

The 2011 volleyball season gets underway this weekend at Georgia Tech hosts the Courtyard Marriott Classic at O'Keefe Gym. The tournament gets underway at 4:30 p.m. on Friday as Tennessee Tech takes on Louisville. The Yellow Jackets will then play Kansas State at 7 p.m.

2011-2012 K-State Watch Parties at Milltown Arms Tavern

The Atlanta K-State Alumni Club will meet for all televised football games and select basketball games in 2011-2012 at the Milltown Arms Tavern, located at 180 Carroll Street SE, Atlanta, GA 30312, in historic Cabbagetown.

The Firkin-Lindbergh has closed, and we are excited about this awesome new venue for our watch parties! Cabbagetown is a historic neighborhood that traces its roots to the late 19th century as a mill town built to provide housing for Fulton Bag and Cotton Mill workers. The neighborhood is located within a six-block area east of downtown Atlanta. Historic Oakland Cemetery and Zoo Atlanta are nearby.

The Milltown Arms Tavern is located just off the I-75/85 Connector, and it is just North of I-20 for convenient access for the entire Atlanta Metropolitan Area. In addition, it is less than a mile form the King Memorial MARTA Station.
